I'm playing around with the phonetics of cede and seed here with the blog address but there's a connection there with what a seed represents and what it gives. 'Cede' is to surrender but it's also to yield and give away. So what does a seed cede?
Are not children also a form of seeds? What do they give and what do we give them?
